Getting compliant with the FAA’s new Agent for Service rule might sound like a bureaucratic headache. But when you have the right support in your corner, the process becomes clear, fast, and surprisingly straight forward.

If you're considering Jet Verge but wondering what actually happens after you sign up, this post is for you. Below, we’ll walk through every step of the process so you know exactly what to expect.

Step 1: Sign Up and Choose a Plan

Everything starts with choosing the right service plan for your needs. Jet Verge offers three tiers — Basic, Plus, and Pro — depending on how much document support and speed you want.

Each plan includes:

  • A secure U.S.-based FAA Designated Agent
  • Full mailing coverage (no surprise fees)
  • Real-time document notifications
  • Legal mail handling from certified aviation professionals

Once you select your plan and enter your info, you’re immediately onboarded into our system. From here, the FAA compliance setup begins, and we guide you through it all.

Step 2: Receive Your Welcome Manual

Right after signup, you’ll get a comprehensive Jet Verge Welcome Manual, delivered straight to your email and available in your Member Panel.

This guide walks you through everything step-by-step, with real screenshots and instructions. It’s written in plain English and designed to feel like someone’s walking you through the process personally, because that’s exactly what it’s for.

Most members complete the entire setup in 10–15 minutes.

Step 3: Complete the FAA Designation (We Show You How)

This is the only part you need to do yourself — and we’ve made it as easy as possible.

You’ll go to usas.faa.gov, the FAA’s official Agent portal, and input some key information:

  • Your full name and date of birth
  • Your FAA FTN number
  • Jet Verge’s official contact information (provided in your Welcome Manual)

The site confirms everything in real time. And once you hit submit, you’ve officially linked Jet Verge as your Designated Agent.

Pro tip: If you ever need help during this process, we’re one email away. And yes, we answer quickly.

Step 4: Get FAA Confirmation (and Let Us Know)

Within minutes, you’ll receive an FAA confirmation email showing your agent designation is complete.

This is your green light.

Once you forward us that confirmation, we lock everything in on our side — including activating your profile, your dashboard, and your FAA monitoring.

We also start preparing your physical address verification, one extra step we take to ensure full service.

Step 5: Jet Verge Activates Full Service

From this point on, we handle everything.

If the FAA sends anything with your name on it, we get it.

We open, scan, and upload every document to your private Member Dashboard.

We notify you immediately if anything is time-sensitive.

We handle outgoing mail and form processing on your behalf (based on your plan tier), and we cover all domestic and international mailing costs.

If your certificate’s ever on the line, we don’t miss.

Step 6: Stay Covered, Without the Stress

With Jet Verge, staying compliant isn’t a task. It just…happens.

You don’t have to check for letters. You don’t have to pay per mailing. You don’t have to worry if your “friend in Texas” missed something important.

You’ve got a team of real aviation professionals who deal with the FAA every day — and have your back when it counts.

And if anything changes? Update your info right in your Member Panel and we’ll handle the FAA side for you.

Final Thought: You’re Not Alone in This

The Agent for Service rule isn’t going away. And ignoring it means risking your certificate; whether you're an A&P, pilot, drone operator, or aircraft owner.

But with the right help, it’s a 15-minute fix. One that covers you for good.

We’ll guide you the rest of the way.
